Who they are
After 10 years in the apparel business assisting other brands design and develop successful collections, creative director Brett Baldwin moved to Los Angeles in 2012 to launch his own California lifestyle brand, Hotel 1171. While launching Hotel 1171, Brett simultaneously launched, Social Club Creative, a creative agency to continue to meet the design, creative direction, and sourcing needs of the apparel brands he previously assisted while in-house.
How we helped
Manoj met Brett by happenstance at Hotel 1171’s DTLA flagship store. Following their initial introductions, Manoj and Brett realized that they were neighbors in the building across the street from the store! After running into each other on a regular basis, Brett approached Manoj to seek his counsel on a variety of matters including, but not limited to, preparing and negotiating his LLC’s operating agreement, his corporation’s bylaws, and a variety of other commercial agreements that he needed to ensure that his businesses would run smoothly.
